It is a common belief that the average human body temperature is 37 degrees Celsius. “Many people, including doctors, have it in their heads, but that’s not right,” says cardiologist Luuk Otterspoor in “The world today” on Radio 1. He organizes a conference in the Dutch city of Eindhoven where doctors from all over the world meet to discuss whether they should use different values when treating patients.
