June 18, 2014 was one of the historical moments in Surabaya. A few weeks ago, there were tense moments on Jalan Kupang Gunung Timur I, Surabaya, which is fondly known as Gang Dolly. Who really is Dolly?
Reported detikJatim, Friday (17/6/2022), the last localization in Surabaya has been closed. The remaining guesthouse building on Jalan Kupang Gunung I is a silent witness to the long trail of the slime business in the City of Heroes, in an alley known by the name of a person: Dolly.
There are several versions of the story that made the name legendary. Become an icon of the dark as well as sparkling scenes in the second largest city in Indonesia. Dolly is even said to have beaten Phat Phong in Thailand or Geylang in Singapore.
But, who exactly is the owner of the name that is famous and synonymous with prostitution? There is a version that says her name is Dolly Van der Mart, a Dutch woman who became a pimp at the beginning of the brothel period in Surabaya.
Another version says he is a man because he is often called Papi Dolly by people around him. Even because of that nickname, some say that Dolly is a very beautiful woman as well as a man who likes women.
Dolly is her nickname. According to the name written on the figure’s grave inscription in Sukun, Malang City, his last name is Chavid. While his first name and middle name were shortened to DA Chavid.
There are several versions which state that the two abbreviated names are Dollyres Advenso or Advenso Dollyres. While other versions are obtained detikJatim is Dolira Advonso. The various versions appear as well as the spelling of Chavid which is often spelled Chavit.
