The text of the play is borrowed from the newspaper publications of Anna Politkovskaya, a Russian journalist killed by Kadyrov. New newspaperas well as prohibited sections of censorship from Dostoevsky ‘s novel Devil. But the story created by the show’s team is about something else – about Russia’s (and not only) consciousness, conscience and subconscious in the context of recent events.
