Severe accident in Sofia. A tram collided with a car that stopped on the tracks to let pedestrians pass. The hit car crushed the people crossing.

The incident took place at the intersection of Pirotska Street and Dimitar Petkov Street. On the spot, 7 minutes after the signal was given, three ambulance teams arrived.
The victims are four men. One of them – about 50 years old, fell into a coma. He was hospitalized in St. Anna Hospital.

Another wounded man, 68, was taken to the Military Medical Academy with moderate injuries.
Men aged 21 and 52 were traveling in the car. Both have head injuries and have also been admitted to the Military Medical Academy.
