She stroked the dog and was seriously injured – on Sunday evening a shepherd dog in Triefenstein (Main-Spessart district) bit a five-year-old girl.
The girl had previously asked the dog owner if she could pet the animal. The affirmed. The dog sat down quietly and let himself be petted. When another child was added, the shepherd dog became aggressive – but was held by his master. Shortly thereafter, the animal jerked its head around and bit the five-year-old on the forearm.
The little girl went to the hospital. The dog owner now has to answer for negligent bodily harm.
