KUWAIT CITY – National team (National Team) Jordan make sure to be the winner of Group A 2023 Asian Cup Qualification after a 3-0 win over Kuwait in the final match which ended on Wednesday (15/6/2022) early morning WIB. Thanks to this victory, Jordan was confirmed to qualify for the 2023 Asian Cup finals.
Jordan’s victory over Kuwait also provided an advantage for the Indonesian national team. The reason is that now the Garuda squad only needs a draw against Nepal on Wednesday (15/6/2022) at 02.15 WIB to qualify for the 2023 Asian Cup by becoming the five best runners-up.
The course of the match
First round
Starting the first half Jordan has shown its dominance. During the first 20 minutes, the host counted only twice to attack.
From that dominance, the Jordanian players were able to create four opportunities, two of which led to the goal. But the opportunity that was owned only ended in a corner kick.
Kuwait can only launch an effective attack in the 30th minute. One of his players was able to repeatedly release a kick that was pushed over by the Jordanian goalkeeper.
