Over the past year and a half, more than 60 neighborhood projects have been approved through the participation fund of the city of Bielefeld, making Bielefeld even more colourful. Projects from the areas of youth, social affairs and non-formal education that are related to the respective neighborhood and improve local cooperation in a variety of ways are eligible for funding.
Thanks to the great commitment of the applicants and their cooperation partners, many great projects have emerged despite the difficult circumstances during the Corona pandemic. The ideas were diverse: from the meeting place for a walk to the folding chair café to the art project for building sculptures together.
Due to the large number of applications received and the associated high volume of funding, no more applications will be accepted from now until the end of October. The next applications can be submitted from November 1st to December 10th. In January 2023, a committee meeting will decide on these applications.
