Electric car charging network Eleport has signed an agreement with Domina Shopping for the installation of four new electric car charging stations in the multi-storey car park of the shopping center, providing a total of eight electric car charging ports. The new charging stations are planned to be installed by September this year.
Four new charging stations will be installed in the multi-storey car park of Domina Shopping C: 150 kW ultra-fast charging station capable of charging at 1000 km / h or 100 km in six minutes, 50 kW fast charging station at 330 km / h speed and two 22 kW AC or slow charging stations, which provide a charging speed of 145 km / h and will be suitable for leisurely charging and leisure in the shopping center.
The two fast charging stations will each have two ports, while the AC stations will offer a total of four ports. In total, eight electric cars will be able to charge up to 150 kW at a time. These charging points will be available to all electric car users. The 150 kW station will be equipped with two European standard CCS2 cables, the 50 kW station will be equipped with both a CCS2 cable and a Japanese standard CHAdeMO cable, and the AC stations will be equipped with a European standard Type 2 nests.
Eleport is purposefully looking for places to install the latest and most modern charging stations in order to create the most convenient and accessible charging network possible, which is subordinate to the driving and daily habits of drivers – not the other way around. That is why we believe that shopping malls are a very suitable place for drivers to recharge their cars on a regular basis. With a convenient and well-organized charging network infrastructure, we promote faster development of the climate-neutral transport industry.
Kārlis Mendziņš, Head of Eleport Latvija
The Finnish manufacturer Kempower fast charging station, which is currently the most modern electric car charging technology, will be installed in the same shopping center in Latvia for the first time.
We are glad that Domina Shopping has become the first shopping center in Latvia where modern Eleport electric car charging points will be installed. As a result of this cooperation, the range of our environmentally friendly services will become even wider – already in the autumn we will offer our visitors to charge 12 electric cars at the same time. It will also be a positive signal for the residents of Purvciems, Pļavnieki, Teika, Jugla and other surrounding neighborhoods to consider switching to “greener cars”, as they can be charged easily and quickly near their home in Domina.
