Amazing Rp 1 Million Durian Scam, Here’s the Seller’s Clarification

After a scene of buyers who feel cheated, buy durian for Rp. 1 million, this seller spoke up. Here’s the explanation and clarification.

A netizen shared a disappointing story he experienced when ordering a certain type of durian online. Seeing attractive offers on Instagram social media, this netizen ordered up to 5 boxes of durian.

The durian he ordered was known to be of the Mao Shang Wan type, which tastes sweet and slightly bitter with thick and creamy flesh. He revealed that he had paid Rp 1 million for all the durians he ordered.

When received and enjoyed, it turns out that the durian is much different from the type Mao Shang Wan ordered. This netizen then accused the seller of fraud against him. Not staying silent, the durian seller is now revealing his clarification and explanation.

Citing Asia One (10/6) Mingli, a netizen who reported fraud by a durian seller revealed his story when he transacted to buy durian. Mingli fully shows how the durian seller not only cheated but also mocked him and said Mingli was infected with Covid-19 because he couldn’t tell the difference durian.

Responding to the noise caused, Andy Tan as a durian seller tried to contact Asia One to provide clarification on the allegations against him. Andy dares to take responsibility for it if it is proven that it was caused by his mistake.

“I’m a man who keeps my word. If I make a mistake, I’ll admit it,” said Andy.

In this incident, Andy admitted that he offered the D24 durian variant after Mingli asked for a durian with a sweet and slightly bitter taste. Andy also said that he did not have Mao Shang Wan durian as Mingli said.

Andy even confirmed when the durian was ready to be shipped and Mingli said he agreed to continue the transaction between the two. After receiving a complaint from Mingli, Andy admitted that he offered to replace the durians that were still intact and unopened.

But after being offered a replacement for his durian, Andy revealed that Mingli had rejected his good intentions. Andy has no intention of harming his own business including being willing to take responsibility for his customer complaints.

“He (Mingli) said he wanted durian with a more bitter taste which is suitable for King of Kings. So to calm him down I didn’t mind losing money but getting more customers,” Andy explained.

Andy also explained that the problem was that only three out of five boxes of durian were received by Mingli. Andy revealed that all of his customers even know that Andy will always replace durian which is problematic when received by the customer. Andy also said that if Mingli continued to prolong this issue, he would not hesitate to process it legally.
