Polda Metro Jaya again arrested the central figure Khilafatul Muslimin. This time, the police arrested AS (74) who was minister in the Muslim Khilafat.
“Yes, that’s right, the person concerned, the US was arrested by the Ditreskrimum Team of the Polda Metro Jaya in Mojokerto, this morning,” said Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Endra Zulpan when contacted detik.comMonday (13/6/2022).
AS arrested in Mojokerto on Monday (13/6) at 00.30 WIB. He has a position as a minister in the Khilafatul Muslimin.
“The role of the US, was appointed as the head of the education department (Minister of Education) of the Khilafahtul Muslimin,” he added.
Zulpan said the US arrest was a development of the arrest of Abdul Qadir Hasan Baraja who is also the supreme leader of the Muslim Khilafatul.
Issue a Substitute for e-KTP
Operations carried out by a joint team from the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya against Khilafatul Muslims in several locations, obtained new findings. One of them was found the population data of thousands of residents at the Khilafatul Muslimin head office in Lampung.
“And we found there the main data for Khilafatul Muslim citizens throughout Indonesia, which until this afternoon we found numbered in the tens of thousands,” said Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes E Zulpan at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, Sunday (12/6).
Zulpan said the data was used to create a new master number. Later it will be used to replace the e-KTP (electronic ID card) issued by the Indonesian government.
“And there are interesting findings, they have also made a Citizen Identification Number or NIW which is used by Khilafatul Muslimin to replace the e-KTP issued by the Indonesian government,” said Zulpan.
