If Robert Lewandowski (33) has expressed his desire to leave Bayern Munich and is pushing to join FC Barcelona, the Pole’s file is not progressing. In recent hours, his name has even come back in force on the side of PSG but, for the time being, his Bavarian club is holding up well in its war of nerves.
Bayern want more restraint from Lewandowski
This Sunday, in the columns of Bild, sports director Hasan Salihamidzic made it clear to Lewandowski that he would do well to tone down his public speeches so that common ground can be found:
“He has a contract with us until 2023 and we are very happy that he is still here. I think from now on things will calm down. We talked about his public statements and how we should all calm down.”
Meanwhile, in the English press, the Daily Star and the Sun also invite Chelsea and Manchester United on the Lewandowski file.
