The forum, founded in 2017, attracted the participation of 28 parties from 21 Asian and European countries. He discussed experiences related to COVID-19, globalization and the future of EU-Asia relations.
It adopted a statement highlighting the importance of strengthening partnership through the important role of political party cooperation towards sustainability and inclusiveness.
During the 37e meeting of the ICAPP Standing Committee held within the framework of the AEPF, the participants agreed to work together to promote cooperation between political parties in the region as well as collaboration with their peers from other regions.
On the sidelines of the event, the deputy head of the CPV Central Committee’s Foreign Relations Commission, Ngô Lê Van, held talks with the vice-president of the European Parliament’s Committee on International Trade, Jan Zahradil, leaders ICAPP; and representatives of participating parties.
Ngô Lê Van said that the PCV will continue to actively contribute to the activities and priority directions of ICAPP.
