A backyard party at a Brooklyn home ended in a shooting that left at least three injured, two of them teenagers, according to the NYPD.
The events occurred on Saturday night when the victims were attending a party behind 264 Essex Street in Cypress Hills, indicates a report by The New York Post.
The attackers arrived in a group and opened fire around 11:30 pm, police confirmed, but the motive is still unknown.
Among the victims there are two young men aged 15 and 16; the first was shot in the left leg, and the second was wounded in the right arm.
Another male victim was shot in the right arm behind the residential building, it added.
Two of the injured were taken to Brookdale Hospital and another to Cohen Children’s Medical Center. Apparently his injuries are not serious.
Investigations are still early, with witness interviews, but the Post confirmed that two of the victims have criminal records.
