Of the 268 ballot papers received, there were 257 votes in favor, ten against and no ballot papers in one ballot.

On Saturday, LZP is also expected to decide on joining the forthcoming joint list of LZP, the Association of Latvian Regions (LRA), the Liepāja Party (LP) and the Uldis Pīlēns Association for the 14th Saeima elections.

The draft decision of the Latvian Council of Science states that the temporary name of the party association is “Regional Power”.

It has already been reported that in May the new political platform created by the future association of LZP, LRA, LP and Pīlēns was announced.

The 14th Saeima elections are scheduled for the first day of October.
