In the last 24 hours, Mexico registered 6 thousand 170 infections and 53 deaths by COVID-19.
According to the technical report of the Ministry of HealthAs of this Friday, June 10, the country accumulates 5,814,866 positive cases and 325,144 deaths from coronavirus.
The agency explained that, to this day, there are 35 thousand 86 active cases of the virus detectedwhich are found predominantly in the following entities: Baja California Sur, Mexico City, Sinaloa, Yucatán, Quintana Roo, Colima, Nuevo León, Aguascalientes, Nayarit and Baja California.
Over the accumulated cases of COVID-19 in the countrythe entities with the highest number of infections are: Mexico City, State of Mexico, Nuevo León, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Tabasco, San Luis Potosí, Veracruz, Puebla and Sonora, which make up 65 percent of total cases.
COVID vaccination in CDMX: Who can attend and what vaccine will they apply?
Through a statement, the CDMX Health Secretariat (SEDESA) reported that vaccination will be carried out in 16 Health Centersas well as at the Center for Naval Studies in Health Sciences (CENCIS Marina).
When detailing which COVID vaccines will be applied, SEDESA detailed:
- In people under 12 to 17 years of age both in the first and second doses will be applied dose of Pfizer.
- People over 18 years of age who have not received the first dose will be given the biological CanSino.
- In the case of older adults and adults with other types of comorbidities, whose last dose was received at least four months ago, they will receive the CanSino and Sputnik-V vaccines.
In addition, SEDESA explained that there is no calendar to serve people, so it is suggested to go on the date and time that suits them best, being certain that there will be sufficient availability of vaccines.
