Former Schalke sports director Jochen Schneider has found a new job.
The 51-year-old returns to Red Bull and takes over as Head of Sport for the New York Red Bulls from Major League Soccer (MLS). Schneider will be “responsible for all sporting matters of the club,” said the US club.
“It is a great honor for me to return to the Red Bull family,” said Schneider, who held senior positions in Germany for VfB Stuttgart, RB Leipzig and most recently at Schalke from March 2019 to February 2021.
