‘Finger amputations for eight convicted thieves in Iran’ | Abroad

Amnesty: abhorrent attack on human dignity

TEHERAN – Eight Iranian men convicted of theft face the risk of having their fingers cut off, Amnesty International and Iran’s Abdorrahman Boroumand Center for Human Rights (ABC) warn. The verdict, finger amputation, has been upheld by Iran’s supreme court, Amnesty said.
