ASN/TNI/Polri Get Free Houses at IKN, but Cannot Be Traded All

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – State Civil Apparatus (ASN/TNI/Polri who move to the National Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago, East Kalimantan Province (Kaltim), will receive house for free.

However, they cannot sell the house.

This is because according to the Deputy Head of the Authority IKN Nusantara Dhony Rahajoe housing ASN/TNI/Polri provided is a official residence type 1.

“House ASN/TNI/Polri, for example, yes, that able to Type 1 official house. It cannot be traded by ASN/TNI/Polri,” he said after the event PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards CEO & Leaders Forum 2022 in Jakarta, Thursday (9/6/2022).

Thus, the building that stands on the land will still be owned and become state property (BMN).

If there are developers who want to participate in building a type 1 official house, there is no need to take care of land issues and permits.

The developers only need to think about building investment (construction).

“It’s lighter, we have also helped with the licensing. This is very different and easier,” continued Dhony.

He continued, there are already local and foreign developers who are interested in building houses in Indonesia IKN Nusantara for ASN/TNI/Polri.

At least 11,000 houses will be built by local developers and another 2,000 by foreign developers. This brings the total to 13,000 units.

However, Dhony was reluctant to mention who local and foreign developers were interested in building houses for ASN/TNI/Polri in Indonesia IKN Nusantara because it’s still in the stage Letter of Intent (LOI).

So far, the Authority IKN Nusantara will move around 15,000-60,000 ASN/TNI/Polri in DKI Jakarta to IKN Nusantara in the period 2022-2024.

In fact, when viewed as a whole, the ASN/TNI/Polri in Jakarta cover 190,000 people.

According to him, the IKN Nusantara Authority does not pursue volume to move IKN Nusantara, but rather the quality in the form of satisfaction felt by the ASN/TNI/Polri.
