TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – For those looking forward to the launch of the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Flip or Fold series, leaker Jon Prosser says Samsung’s next big event has been scheduled for this summer. That’s when, on August 10, 2022, the Korean electronics giant will unveil its next folding device, Galaxy Z Fold4 dan Galaxy Z Flip4.
In a tweet on June 9, Prosser also said that the Galaxy Watch5 would appear at the same event. There are three sizes, namely versions 40, 44, and 46 mm. Accompanying the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip4 is the special Samsung Galaxy S22 with Lavender color.
The sales will begin August 26, or about two weeks after the announcement. A series of speculations regarding the specifications have also been circulating for a long time. Among them are 2X AMOLED screens with a size of 6.7 inches, a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak screen brightness of 1200 nits for the Galaxy Z Flip4.

The latest rumors come for the Galaxy Z Fold4 which is said to have a version with a storage capacity of up to 1 TB. That means double the capacity of the Galaxy Z Fold3, and is considered suitable for those who are used to or want to store a lot of video content on their handheld devices.
This storage capacity is important because the Galaxy Z Fold3 does not have a slot for a microSD card, and the Fold4 looks the same. Previously, the specifications for the Fold4 were said to be lighter in weight than the Fold3. The chips to be used are Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and a 4,400 mAh battery.
