The Roma work continues to complete the squad to be entrusted to Josè Mourinho for next season. In midfield, the imminent arrival of Matic does not close the moves coming into that department: Roma, in fact, also want Davide Frattesi of Sassuolo.
Rome: Frattesi is a goal. Mourinho gave his ‘ok’
The midfielder, born in Rome on 22/9/1999 and raised in the youth sector of Rome, is a goal of the Giallorossi club who would like him to return to wear the club jersey. Also Mourinho agrees and has already given his ok. Now it remains to find an agreement with Sassuolo (Felix Afena-Gyan and / or Christian Volpato could also be part of the negotiation).
Roma, moreover, was the club from which Sassuolo bought Frattesi outright in the summer of 2017. In the deal, a clause was inserted which provides that 30% of the player’s future resale must go to Roma: it is clear, therefore, that if the Giallorossi club were to (re) buy him, he would pay ‘only’ the remaining 70% of his card and the amount requested by Sassuolo would be lowered.
Matic could anticipate visits and signatures
To return to Nemanja Matic, Roma’s first shot (WHO details), the Serbian midfielder now ex Manchester United could bring forward the date of the medical examinations and the signing of his new contract, which could therefore take place either next Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Roma would like to formalize as soon as possible and stop making visits at the beginning of July as planned.
Frattesi’s numbers with Sassuolo
Bought in the summer of 2017, Frattesi played on loan in Ascoli, Empoli and Monza. In the season just ended, however, the midfielder had space in the black-green team coached by Dionisi: in total, Frattesi took part in 38 official matches (36 in the league and 2 in the Cup), showing the general public all his talent. . After a more than convincing season, now Roma want to bring him back to the Olimpico.
