The Vieux-Lille braderie is making a comeback this Saturday

After two editions canceled because of the Covid, the Braderie du Vieux-Lille is finally back this Saturday, June 11, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. On the program of this flea market eagerly awaited, more than 500 exhibitors spread over a large part of Vieux-Lille.

A festive atmosphere for antiquing with friends

This 2022 edition promises to be very special. Because after two years of absence, the 500 exhibitors, whether individuals or professionals, are eager to invest the streets of Vieux-Lille again. And for lack of being able to sell outside of this clearance sale, some will surely have very busy stands. For bargain hunters, it is therefore a golden opportunity to do very good business.

In addition to the streets that will be loaded with trinkets, furniture, clothes racks and other items, many activities will be planned. Don’t miss the boys’ race organized by the bar-restaurant La Luck. The starting signal will be given at 10 a.m.

Throughout the day, seven music groups will set the mood in Old Lille. Moreover, the streets will be decorated for the occasion. And the Ucac (Union of traders, craftsmen and creators) of Old Lille promises “a vintage and sunny atmosphere” as well as a “good time to spend with friends or family”.

The streets affected by the sale

For the great return of the clearance sale, the organizers wanted a wider perimeter. Here are the streets and squares affected by the event:

Concert Square
Collegiate Street
Archives Square
St. Andrew Street
Rue du Pont Neuf
Hall Street
St. Sebastian Street
St. Andrew’s Square
Rue du Metz

Traffic will therefore be cut in these streets and the surrounding area. Be careful, however, if you are used to parking in the area. “All vehicles parked on the perimeter of the clearance sale will be removed by the pound from 2 a.m.”, warn the organizers. Traffic will reopen at 8 p.m.
