Challenges
The transformation of the presidential majority from center left to center right should fully benefit outgoing MP Blandine Brocard (Modem). The constituency perfectly matches Emmanuel Macron’s new sociology of the electorate. The re-elected president achieved very good scores in the Monts d’Or or in Caluire-et-Cuire, making people forget the failure of the municipal elections of 2020. For lack of prospects and to participate in the renewal of the political class, the mayor LR of Caluire-et-Cuire, Philippe Cochet, moreover left his investiture to Bastien Joint.
