Next Saturday, June 11th, the Association of Expellees invites you to the big Pomeranian meeting from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the multi-purpose hall “Volkshaus” in Anklam. Around 500 visitors from all over Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and beyond are expected. Among other things, 50 compatriots from Stolp (Slupsk), Koszalin (Koszalin), Stettin (Szczecin), Stargard (Stargard) and Rummelsburg (Miastko) who have remained in their old homeland have announced their participation. Anniversary is celebrated
The event, at which the 30th anniversary of the Pomeranian Meeting can also be celebrated, is given a festive frame by the Pomeranian wind orchestra Wolgast, the shanty choir Insel Usedom and the Mecklenburg-Pomeranian folklore ensemble Ribnitz-Damgarten. As always, all home districts are signposted at extra tables so that compatriots can easily find each other. Lunch, coffee and cake will be provided. According to the Association of Expellees, prior registration is no longer necessary. In addition, not only Pomeranians are invited, but all compatriots and interested parties from near and far.
