As Gavi explained, Ansu Fati doesn’t blame him for the “record theft”. “Ansu told me he had eight days to get over it,” joked the new record holder. “We are both happy to be here.”

Santi Cazorla hopes for Gavi extension
Despite his youth, Gavi is already a fixture under Luis Enrique in the Spanish national team. Coach Xavi Hernandez also regularly relies on the super talent at FC Barcelona, whose contract expires in 2023.
