SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Authorities are investigating a man barricading himself inside a home in south Sacramento.
An armed man barricaded himself inside a home along the 5300 block of Jacinto Avenue in south Sacramento, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
According to police, the man fired a firearm inside a home located in the 5300 block of Jacinth Avenue.
The crisis negotiators and SWAT team officers are on site.
Police are asking to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
Calvine Road will remain closed between Gibbs Way and Jacinto Avenue.
