A truck with breakdown at Moergestel causes problems on the A58 highway from Breda to Eindhoven on Tuesday morning. The right lane is closed. The recovery of the truck had started around half past eight. Rijkswaterstaat could not yet say when the road will be clear again.

Between Tilburg-Centrum West and Oirschot, it was fixed around half past eight over a length of 9 kilometers. This led to about a 20 minute delay. There was also a traffic jam in the other direction at Moergestel (of 5 kilometers, with the extra travel time increasing to 6 minutes).

Earlier Tuesday morning, a broken truck caused significant delays on the A67 from Venlo in the direction of Eindhoven. This truck was parked at the Leenderheide junction. The truck was removed just after 7:30 am, Rijkswaterstaat reported. At around eight o’clock, however, motorists still have to take into account a delay of an hour.
“The traffic jam will now be resolved quickly,” Rijkswaterstaat said when the truck was removed. Detours via Maasbracht on the A73 and the A2, as was advised earlier Tuesday morning, were no longer necessary from eight o’clock. However, at a quarter to nine there was still a 9 km traffic jam, with 11 minutes delay.
