Amsterdam – Edo de Jaeger, chairman of the board of the ROC Amsterdam-Flevoland, did well in 2020 with a salary of 201,000 euros: exactly the maximum wage that a director in the (semi-) public sector is allowed to earn. But with three additional positions as supervisor (at two GP organizations and a housing corporation), he earned another 45,000 euros that year. According to his own words, these side jobs cost him about 15 hours a week – for which he receives the equivalent of 250 euros per hour.
