This means that the Diamond League competition in Oslo on Thursday 16 June will be Jakob Ingebrigtsen’s last competition before the 1500 and 5000 meters in the World Athletics Championships 15.-24. July. Stockholm’s Diamond League meeting on June 30 is out of the question for Jakob Ingebrigtsen and Filip Ingebrigtsen, according to Wessfeldt.
Both will recharge for the World Cup in their hometown Flagstaff in Arizona 2000 meters above sea level, before they go to the Norwegian Athletics Association’s so-called precamp in Berkeley (52 meters above sea level) in California a week before the World Cup start.
