Vivo Develops 200W Charger for iQOO 10 Pro

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Various smartphone manufacturers are competing to make big chargers, including Vivo. A charger with the potential to deliver 200W output to mobile devices has been certified in China, and vivo is now starting to produce it.

According to Digital Chat Station, as quoted by GSM Arena, June 6, 2022, the standard will be applied to smartphones iQOO 10 Pro who can attend at the end of this year.

Adapter V2001L0B0-CN provides 20V with 10A and will also be able to supply charger wireless with 20V and 3.25A, which means 65W. The current flagship iQOO 9 Pro phone does 120W fast charging via cable and 50W wirelessly.

Chargers capable of up to 200W are nothing new in the industry. Realme has also developed a charging architecture that allows speeds between 100W and 200W. For the safety of consumers, the Realme GT Neo3 smartphone is limited to 150W, which is still the fastest charging speed in the world to date.

This record is expected to be broken soon as the company is always chasing new “World’s First” titles to post on their websites for marketing purposes.

So far, Vivo has never introduced the iQOO series to Indonesia, but hopes it doesn’t hurt. Let’s take a quick look at the specifications of the iQOO 9 Pro.

The processor used is Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (4 nm) combined with 8 GB or 12 GB RAM. The storage capacity also varies from 256 GB and 512 GB which cannot be expanded externally.

On the back has a main camera of 50 MP OIS wide, 50 MP ultra wide 150Ëš and 16 MP telephoto. The video capabilities are 8K@30fps, 4K@24/30/60fps, 1080p@30/60fps, gyro-EIS.
