Ryanair lets South African passengers prove nationality with African test: “Only 20 percent understand language”

South African lawyer Zinhle Novazi had to take the test at the end of May when she flew with Ryanair from Ibiza to London. According to her, they asked about South Africa’s highest mountain, the largest city and a national holiday. “I was able to answer the questions,” she told Reuters. “African is not my native language, but I learned it in school.”
