Those were nice words from the president. “This is a historic moment,” he said recently during one of his daily video addresses to the nation. He wanted to encourage people, that was clear. All the past days, weeks and months have been about the destruction of Ukraine. About the dead civilians and soldiers, about the war that Vladimir Putin has started, all those destroyed roads, bridges, buildings, monuments, villages and towns, and about the many, many billions it will cost to rebuild the country if once there is peace.
