KOMPAS.com – Purchase plan BBM Subsidy by using the MyPertamina application is currently being discussed by the government.

It is known, there are two types of BBM subsidized determined by the government, namely solar and pertalite.
With the revised regulation, it is said that the process of purchasing subsidized fuel will use the MyPertamina application. This is done to anticipate repeated purchases of fuel.
“Later (the purchase) with the MyPertamina digitization system will be effective, so it cannot be refilled again,” said Committee Member for the Downstream and Natural Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) Saleh Abdurrahman, Wednesday (2/6/2022).

When does the purchase of subsidized fuel using MyPertamina start?
The process of finalizing the Acting Corporate Secretary of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, SH C&T Pertamina Irto Ginting said the specific mechanism related to the implementation of the subsidized fuel purchase policy had not been determined.
However, his party ensured that the revised regulation entered the finalization stage.
“Currently, it is still in the process of finalizing the revision of Presidential Regulation No. 191 of 2014 especially regarding the criteria for receiving subsidized fuels,” Ginting said to Kompas.com, Saturday (4/6/2022).
The revision will also explain the criteria for residents who can buy subsidized fuel.
Luxury cars are said to be one of the criteria for buyers who are prohibited from buying subsidized fuel.
However, Ginting said that the specifications of luxury cars were indeed required to use RON 92 fuel and above.
“In terms of specs, it’s certainly not right to use a RON below that (92),” he explained recently.
As known, Pertalite Currently, it has become a Special Assignment Fuel Type (JBKP). With this status, production and distribution are supervised by the government, and can be subsidized through compensation to Pertamina.

Pertamina itself has ensured that the price of pertalite, subsidized diesel and 3 kilograms of LPG does not increase. This was done after Pertamina received an additional subsidy from the government to Rp 401.8 trillion in 2022.
Previously, the budget for fuel and LPG subsidies was only Rp. 77.5 trillion and fuel compensation of Rp. 18.5 trillion in 2022.
