Throughout this month (June / June), until 1.7. you have the opportunity to add the free Tell Me Why adventure to Steam.
The game was released in 2020 and was created by French game developers from the Dontnod Entertainment studio. This studio has, for example, such games as the third person action Remember Me, the RPG game Vampire, the adventure Twin Mirror or two parts Life is Strange. In this game, one of the main characters is a transgender person and the game deals with the issue of transsexuality (but it is not the main theme of the game).
The story of the game takes place in Alaska, where the twins Allison and Tyler (originally born as the little girl Ollie) return to their hometown to sell the house to their late mother. The twins meet in Alaska after 10 years of separation and face them to come to terms with their past and find their way to each other. You will discuss common memories of your childhood, where each of the twins remembers certain events in a different way. Your choice is which version of events you prefer and affect your future. The problem for Tyler is his mother, who has not easily come to terms with Tyler’s transsexuality.
Tell Me Why contains a total of three episodes (you can get the game on Steam for free in the complete version) and it will take you between 10 and 11 hours to complete it. On metacritic, Tell Me Why received an overall rating of 75 from the reviewers and 5.3 from the players.
You can add Tell Me Why to your Steam library for free at this link.
