A motorist (56) had to surrender her driver’s license on Saturday because she drove too fast on the A2 highway. After correction, the speed of the Eindhoven driver was set at 151 kilometers per hour, while she was only allowed to drive 90 with her trailer. That’s what the police report.
She also had her phone in hand. In their own words, to be able to keep an eye on Flitsmeister. “Unfortunately, this app does not see unobtrusive motorcyclists from the police,” the traffic police wrote on Twitter.
The woman has lost her driver’s license for the time being. The Public Prosecution Service will decide within ten days how long it should be returned. The woman was also fined 350 euros for holding her phone.
Police have not disclosed where the driver was caught on the A2.
