Gabriel Slonina, according to the verdict of the delegates, is set to join Real Madrid this summer. However, the Spanish record champion failed with his first request.

Real Madrid failed to persuade the Chicago Fire to sell Gabriel Slonina (18) at first instance. At least the American journalist and expert on Major League Soccer, Tom Bogert, reports that the offer was rejected.

Chelsea FC and Wolverhampton Wanderers are said to have recently also held transfer talks. However, Slonina has chosen Real Madrid as his new club and is keen to join Concha Espina.

Slonina has played two games for the USA U20 side and was included in the adult squad for the first time in December last year. Real want to sign Slonina to replace Andriy Lunin, who wants to leave Madrid.
