LG Electronics (LG) released a Star Wars special edition of its LG on Friday in partnership with Lucasfilm OLED evo 65 Zoll C2 announced and sent directly to presale.

The Star Wars LG OLED evo TV features Darth Vader themed packaging, a Star Wars aesthetic UI and a gallery of special Star Wars content. When you turn on the TV, you’ll hear Darth Vader’s heavy breathing. In addition, the mouse pointer, which is controlled with the Magic Remote, takes on the appearance of the iconic Star Wars lightsaber. LG meets Star Wars
LG’s Gallery Mode, which turns the TV into a canvas on which to display paintings and other artworks, will surprise fans with two new categories of Star Wars artwork: The Concept Art and The Journey of Darth Vader. The former includes original storyboards and illustrated images showing how Star Wars came to life. The Journey of Darth Vader will feature content such as movie posters and key movie scenes.

A numbered certificate of authenticity is included with each TV box, because the special edition is also limited to 501 copies in Germany. Advance sales start today, June 3 (deliveries start on June 29, 2022). The TV will be available exclusively through Saturn and the LG website. From June 3rd to 5th, the LG OLED evo Star Wars Edition will also be exhibited for the first time at FedCon 2022 in Bonn.

LG takes the immersive cinematic experience to new dimensions with the use of the new α (Alpha) 9 Gen5 AI processor 4K and image algorithms of LG’s OLED evo technology, which is used in the latest models of the C2 series. Additionally, LG’s 2022 OLED TVs are the first to use Dolby Vision IQ with Precision Detail, which reveals previously uncaptured visual detail and nuance to enhance the sense of reality. The TV is completed with cinematic audio quality with virtual 7.1.2 surround sound, made possible by LG’s latest AI processor.
