Talpa Network will release a new season of . at the end of August Lingo† The word game will then no longer be broadcast on SBS6, but on Net5. A spokesperson for Talpa Network confirms this after reporting from Showbizz Network.
Jan Versteegh, who took on the presentation of Lingo for SBS6 in 2019, will also present the program on Net5.
Talpa Network placed a call urging potential candidates to apply to participate in the program. At a later time, it will be announced on which date the first episode can be seen on Net5.
Lingo was on television for the first time in the Netherlands in 1989. It was then presented by Robert ten Brink. Francois Boulangé, Nance and Lucille Werner later took over the presentation of the language game. The program was shown on public broadcasting from 1989 to 2014. After a gap of five years, SBS6 took over.
