Cycle race causes extensive road closures in Frankfurt

Due to the Eschborn-Frankfurt cycle race, there will be extensive road closures in the Main metropolis this Sunday (May 1).

Frankfurt am Main – The traditional cycle race on May 1st in and around Frankfurt am Main is causing extensive road closures in the Main metropolis this Sunday. In addition, there are also some political demonstrations in the banking city.

As the police announced in advance, this Sunday from around 6 a.m. in the city of Frankfurt there will be impairments in road traffic and local public transport.

As a result of the “Eschborn-Frankfurt” cycle race, there will be full closures in the following areas of the Main metropolis until around 11:30 p.m.:

  • Reuterweg
  • Grüneburgweg
  • Eschersheimer Landstrasse
  • Hochstraße
  • New Mainzer Strasse
  • Mainkai
  • Old bridge
  • Schaumainkai
  • Untermain Bridge
  • Taunus plant.

In addition, the A66 (intersection Miquelallee) in the direction of Frankfurt will be closed between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., as will the A66 (intersection Ludwig-Landmann-Strasse) between 8 a.m. and 4.45 p.m.
