JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Minister of State -Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir sparingly talk about the absence of sponsors from state-owned companies for event Formula E Jakarta which was held on Saturday (4/6/2022).
“No comment,” Erick said when asked by the media after attending our Pancasila National Gathering: “Pancasila Responds to the Challenges of the Times” at the Nasdem Party DPP Office, Jakarta, Thursday (2/6/2022).
Formula E Jakarta will certainly be held without sponsorship support from SOEs.

This is because the sponsorship cooperation with PT Pertamina International Refinery as a subsidiary of PT Pertamina was suddenly canceled.
“(BUMN) doesn’t exist, already fix nothing,” said VP Organizing Committee (OC) Formula E Iman Sjafei, Wednesday (1/6/2022), reported from Jakarta Tribune.
Thus, currently there are only 29 private companies and one BUMD that are sponsor Formula E.

Three days before the race, Iman also made sure that no more sponsors would enter to support the biggest electric car racing event in the world.
“I don’t think there’s any (sponsors come in again), they don’t exist anymore, it’s over. Yes 29 private sponsors and 1 BUMD,” he said.
