On the afternoon of June 2, residents of occupied Berdyansk heard the sound of two powerful explosions in the city port. About it reported local telegram channels, in the comments, citizens share videos and photos from the scene.

Residents of Berdyansk suggested that a sabotage occurred in the port, which was staged by Ukrainian military personnel or partisans.

Russian propagandists said that this was not the case.

“Explosions are mine clearing of the port. All the stories about the DRG and so on from the Ukrainian telegram channels are fake,” — assured Crimean collaborator, former Ukrainian journalist Oleg Kryuchkov.

Soon the media “Crimea 24” headed by him published a message that the engineering service of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia is clearing the objects of the Berdyansk port. The goal of the occupiers is to prepare the port to receive civilian ships. These works are expected to be completed within three days.

This explanation did not satisfy everyone. Doubters emphasizethat in the port for three months the invaders carried out various works, while it turns out that they started demining only now.

Recall that at the end of March Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a missile “Tochka-U” on Russian shipsstationed in the port of Berdyansk. As a result, the large landing ship “Saratov” was destroyed. Major General of the SBU Viktor Yagun is sure that this operation is unique, since the ship was destroyed with weapons that are not directly intended for military operations at sea.
