Orange TV arrives on Samsung connected TVs for Livebox Orange and Sosh customers

tv d'orange samsungOrange TV is changing today: all customers of the incumbent operator can now subscribe to the new Orange TV option on Samsung connected TV.

This option allows access to 140 channels. Sosh and Orange customers can take advantage of it for €5 per month and it is free on request for Livebox Up and Livebox Max subscribers.

Smart TVs finally welcome the Orange TV option

To take advantage of this new TV option, customers must be equipped with a 2018 or newer Samsung Smart TV. They can use it as their first screen instead of the TV decoder option with La Boite Sosh or on a second TV in addition to the TV decoder option (€5 at Sosh, included in Orange landline offers).

The functionalities on the connected TV are the same as those on the decoder: live channels, replay, program guide, etc. The operator indicates that only the subscription of VOD and bouquets from the application is not available for the moment , but this feature is coming soon.

How to take advantage of Orange’s new TV option?

As a reminder, the Orange TV on connected TV is billed at €5 per month for Sosh and Orange landline and mobile customers, but it is free on request for Up and Max customers. The option is non-binding and you can subscribe to it from your customer area. To be able to subscribe to it, however, you must make sure for the moment that you have activated the Orange TV app option beforehand for Sosh customers.

You must also check that your Samsung television is compatible with this new option: this is the case for all Samsung Smart TVs since 2018, but you can also type “Orange” in your TV’s store: if the TV application d ‘Orange appears, your TV is compatible. You will simply have to fill in your Orange identifiers to be able to enjoy the operator’s TV channels — the identifiers will be filled in automatically if you connect via your Livebox’s WiFi.
