Real Madrid let Bale and Isco

Madrid

Finished career Gareth Bale and Isco from Real Madrid. Both were released simultaneously by the Spanish capital club.

Bale first said goodbye to Madrid through a farewell letter uploaded on his social media account, Wednesday (1/6/2022) afternoon WIB. This also ends Bale’s nine-year tenure

“Real Madrid would like to say a huge thank you to Gareth Bale, a player who will always be a part of the history of this club,” said a club statement.

“He lived one of the golden eras in our history. Real Madrid will always be his home, and we want to wish him and his family the best for the future.”

Bale joined from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013 for a fee of 100 million euros. He presented five Champions League trophies and three LaLiga titles. Bale even has more trophies than Zinedine Zidane when he was still playing, which is 16 pieces.

Zidane then “dumped” Bale from the first team in 2019 and was loaned to Tottenham Hotspur last season. In his last season, Bale only played seven times and scored one goal.

In total there were 106 goals he made from 258 appearances in all competitions. Besides Gareth Bale whose contract expired, there was also Isco who was also released by Madrid on a free transfer.

Injury issues make Isco difficulty shining in Madrid especially this season because he only appeared 17 times in all competitions. Coming with Bale in the same season, Isco made 353 appearances with 53 goals.

The Valencia academy-trained midfielder will reportedly move to Italy to strengthen AC Milan.

“Real Madrid is also grateful and proud for Francisco Alarcon (Isco) who has played for this team for nine years and has become a club legend. His playing style has always impressed the Madridistas, who have always supported him through many unforgettable moments.”
