One of the longest Hochschwa routes through the highest, albeit somewhat indented wall area of the Stangenwand, a mixture of alpine and sport climbing routes!
The pure sport climber will not be satisfied here, but if you look at the route as a whole, you could come home satisfied! Some pitches have very beautiful, eroded rock and wonderful climbing (e.g. Seill. 4,11 and 13), but many other pitches are clearly alpine climbing, with everything that goes with it, and the route sometimes seems a bit sought-after. As mentioned, the rock quality is sometimes very good, but often not very solid, the protection in the difficult passages is very good with a bra, but often also with (often bad!) normal hooks and cams! The rock quality (limestone) is moderate, the protection (BH, NH, KK) moderate to good. Difficulty 8 (an extremely hard, splintering individual section, possibly also harder! is hardly ever climbed freely), 7+ (one section), several sections 6+ and 7-, but mostly between 5- and 6-, but also easier and some short ones rugged passages.
