According to plans, the new station for Long Island Railroad trains, at the Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan, will begin operating in the coming months.
And in the meantime, Governor Hochul and the MTA have announced that the highly anticipated Eastside Access project will be named: Grand Central Madison.
The project provides a direct connection for all lines of the Long Island Railroad to the Midtown area and the eastern part of Manhattan.
It is prospected for completion in December.
