Jevgenijs Ivanovs has become the Acting Head of Corporate Banking at Swedbank Latvija from June 1, joining the bank’s management team.
Until now, J.Ivanovs managed the Corporate Banking Department of Swedbank. Previously, the Head of the Corporate Department was Lauris Mencis, who now holds the position of the Chairman of the Board of Swedbank Latvija.
Jevgenijs Ivanovs has been operating in the field of Swedbank Business Services for more than 18 years. He started his career as a legal customer service manager. He then headed the International Customer Service Division, the Small and Medium Business Service, and the Large Business Service. Educated at Ventspils University College and RTU Ventspils Faculty, Department of Economics. In addition, he also studied at the Department of International Economic Relations of the University of Latvia, while obtaining a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Management from the School of Business Administration “Turiba”.
As Lauris Mencis, the head of Swedbank in Latvia, mentions, “Jevgenijs is a colleague who knows the field of corporate services from the ground up.
