Ric Flair: “I saw Vince at WrestleMania 38, I saw Steve Austin there and it really inspired me.”

During an interview for WrestleZone, Ric Flair revealed that seeing Vince McMahon and Stone Cold at WrestleMania 38 inspired and motivated him to get back in the ring.

He tells us :

“You know, I was never happy with the way I ended my career. When I left, after WWE, it was great, but then I had to wrestle a few more times because I had to pay lawyers and pay child support, and those are basically the details. A lot of both, but I wasn’t happy with that at all, I wasn’t happy with myself.

Then I saw Vince at WrestleMania 38, I saw Steve Austin there and it really inspired me. I’d thought about it, and while I’ve had my share of issues, I don’t have aches, if that makes sense.”

Ric Flair will make his last fight this summer during the Starrcast V weekend which will take place from July 29 to 31. After Ricky Steamboat’s refusal to come out of retirement, Ric Flair has not yet announced the name of his last opponent for this show which will be Sold Out as announced by Starrcast on Twitter.
