Roberto Mancini released, this Monday, the list of 30 players who will travel to England. It is recalled that Italy, European champions, will face Argentina, winners of the Copa America, in a final at Wembley, on 1 June.
And among those called up there is a novelty that stands out. Currently at the service of Zurich, who became champion of Switzerland, Willy Gnonto, 18 years old, will continue his trip with the main squad and could make his debut for the blue Team.
Formed at Inter and Zurich since 2020, Willy Gnonto has represented Italy in the youth team, having even participated in the 2019 World Cup in under-17. In that campaign he scored three goals in four games.
