The author of the armed attack which injured 23 on Tuesday in the New York subway was arrested on Wednesday. He will be prosecuted under a law prohibiting “terrorist attacks and other violence against (…) public transport”.
“He will appear in federal court in Brooklyn and, if convicted, will face a life sentence,” federal prosecutor Breon Peace said at a press conference.
