Sleman –
Boaz Solossa already have a new club for next season’s competition. The Papuan attacker officially strengthened PSS Sleman.
The certainty of Boaz’s joining was announced through the official Instagram account of the club nicknamed the Javanese Eagle.
“He came not only with a mountain of experience, more than that, he was ready to give his knowledge to young Javanese Eagle ammunition! Sugeng rawuh, a legend!” wrote the announcement, on Monday (30/05/2022).
The 36-year-old striker last season defended Borneo FC. Appeared 22 times, Boaz netted three goals and one assist. Throughout his career Boaz only played for two clubs after playing for Persipura Jayapura since 2004.
“Joining PSS is the second challenge, last year I played for Borneo FC. The strong reason I joined PSS Sleman was because of the fanaticism of the supporters with a lot of choreography (choreography),” said Boaz in a club statement, Monday (30/30). 5/2022).
Boaz’s arrival is intended to be a mentor for PSS’s young players. This is important in the development of PSS’s young players because they can gain knowledge and experience from Boaz.
Boaz hopes that his presence can provide more motivation for young players. He asked the young players not to feel inferior.
“With the various experiences that I have and when I played at Borneo FC we met PSS team and we lost. I saw a lot of potential for young players, there were some in the forward positions, left-right wing, they have tremendous potential. “
“My presence here does not break the potential of young players,” said the younger brother of Ortizan Solossa.
“Hopefully, my presence at PSS can be more motivation and enthusiasm for my younger siblings here so that PSS can talk more this year,” concluded Boaz Solossa.
