A woman has shocked her TikTok fans after sharing before and after videos showing her incredible journey to recovery from an eating disorder.
Hannah Gane, who posts on the app as @ganergains, showed off a video of herself first embarking on her journey to recover from anorexia before sharing what she looks like now.
In the first clip, she looks dramatically underweight as she says she doesn’t want people staring at her at the gym.
But in the recent clip, she seems to have taken herself to a much healthier level as she claims she’s sharing her story to “help others.”

She said: “I’m posting this here because I want to help other people. I want people to realize the darkness in which anorexia puts you and I want to prevent as many people as possible from ever going there.”
The amateur bodybuilder’s transformation, which received more than 79,000 likes, shocked her TikTok followers who took to the comments to congratulate her on her strength.
One user wrote: “Frankly, this is absolutely incredible! I can’t imagine how hard this was for you, I’m so incredibly proud of you!”

Another said: “I can’t get over how well you’ve done – what a difference – amazing.”
A third wrote: “Congratulations!! You are very strong.”
A fourth added: “You are amazing. You look so good and healthy. You can see in your eyes that you are a lot happier and really enjoying life. Congratulations. I am so happy for you.”
In another video, Hannah gave a brutally honest answer about the ‘secret of her recovery’, saying: “I’m going to be completely honest, completely straight forward. There is no secret. There really is no secret.

“If there’s a secret, it’s literally as simple as eating in a calorie surplus. If you don’t understand what that means, eating a calorie surplus actually means eating more than your body needs.
“That doesn’t mean you have to eat thousands and thousands and thousands of calories more. It just means eating a little more than your body needs to maintain its body weight. That’s the secret.
“There is no perfect food. There was no special diet, meal plan, nutrition plan, whatever you want to call it. It’s literally as simple as eating in a calorie surplus. The size of that surplus depends on how comfortable you feel.”
